It is particularly suitable for the withstand voltage test of electrical equipment (e.g.: power cables, power capacitors, large- and medium-sized generators and motors, etc.) with large insulation equivalent capacitance, and it meets the requirements of the electric power industry standard General Technical Specification of Ultra-low Frequency High-voltage Generator DL/T849.4-2004 newly issued by the country in 2004.

At the Flashover sample test method, HZ-501B cable fault locator, working with HZ-503 cable fault pin-pointer,HZ-504 cable route tracer, HZ-508-35/2 or HZ-506 series High Voltage pulse generator, to complete the measurement of cable fault by "flashover method".
