In power systems, railway systems, and large petrochemical plants and mines, enterprises have a large number of electrical equipment, and their internal insulation is mostly oil filled insulation type. The dielectric strength of insulation oil is a routine test that must be measured. To meet market demand, our company has independently developed and produced a series of insulation oil dielectric strength testers based on national standard GB/T507-2002, industry standard DL429.9-91, and the latest power industry standard DL/T846.7-2004. This instrument is based on a single-chip microcomputer, which realizes full automation of testing, high measurement accuracy, greatly improves work efficiency, and also greatly reduces the labor intensity of staff.

I.Main functions and features

1.This instrument adopts a microprocessor and a six cup integrated system, which automatically completes operations such as boosting, holding, stirring, static discharge, calculation, printing, etc. It can perform oil circulation withstand voltage tests within the range of 0-80kV.

2.Large screen LCD display with Chinese character menu prompts.

3.This instrument is easy to operate, and the operator only needs to make simple settings. The instrument will automatically complete the pressure test of 1-6 oil samples according to the settings. For each oil sample, the breakdown voltage value and cycle number will be automatically stored. After the test is completed, the thermal printer can print out the breakdown voltage value and average value of each oil sample

4.Power off hold, capable of storing 100 experimental results and displaying the current ambient temperature and humidity.

5.Adopting microcontroller control for uniform voltage boosting, the voltage frequency is accurate to 50Hz, making the entire process easy to control.

6.Equipped with overvoltage, overcurrent, and limit protection to ensure the safety of operators.

7.It has temperature measurement display function and system clock display.

8.Standard RS232 interface, capable of communicating with computers.

III.matters needing attention

1. The selection, placement, and distance between electrodes of the oil sample before the experiment should comply with national and industry standards.

2. After the power is turned on, it is strictly prohibited for operators or other personnel to touch the casing to avoid danger.

3. If any abnormalities are found during the use of this instrument, the power should be immediately cut off.

4. New oil cups or newly cleaned oil cups should be punctured 24 times before testing, and clean oil should be soaked in the cup when not tested.

V.Maintenance and upkeep

1. Avoid exposing this instrument to damp environments.

2. The oil cup and electrode should be kept clean, and during the shutdown period, they should be filled with new transformer oil for protection. Before reuse, check for any changes in the distance between the electrodes and any loose threads between the electrode tip and electrode rod. If there are any loose threads, tighten them promptly.

3. The high-voltage electromagnetic switch inside the oil cup box of this instrument is of the oil filled insulation type. The oil level should be regularly observed through the transparent switch housing. If the distance between the oil level and the top exceeds 10mm, the screw plug should be unscrewed to supplement the No. 25 transformer oil in accordance with GB2536.
