With the rapid development of the power industry and increasing investment in power industry infrastructure and equipment, the use of SF6 electrical equipment continues to grow. Consequently, the requirements for the installation, commissioning, overhaul, and maintenance of SF6 electrical equipment are becoming increasingly stringent. Relevant departments have set higher quality and time standards for vacuuming and refilling gas during the construction and maintenance of SF6 electrical equipment, especially for Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS).
Over the years, our company has continuously accumulated experience in testing, calibration, and professional technology for SF6 gas electrical equipment. To meet the evolving needs of this industry, we have developed the SF6 Gas Vacuum and Refill Device. This device not only meets the technical specifications of advanced foreign equipment but also satisfies the pricing requirements of domestic users. It is based on an analysis of the latest and most advanced foreign maintenance technologies.

I. Product Description

The SF6 Gas Vacuum and Refill Device is primarily used by power supply companies, power engineering firms, power plants, ultra-high voltage transmission substations, and SF6 electrical switch manufacturers, among other departments. This equipment serves as an auxiliary tool for the installation, adjustment, and maintenance of SF6 electrical products, such as Gas Circuit Breakers (GCBP, GCBT), and Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS). It is designed to vacuum and refill SF6 gas for these electrical products. Additionally, the device can also be used for vacuuming and refilling operations in other applications.

In addition to fulfilling all the necessary functions for SF6 gas vacuuming and recharging, this device also features the following characteristics:

1.Electronic vacuum display: The device includes an electronic vacuum display, with the option to configure other types of vacuum gauges according to user requirements.

2.Diverse connectors: It is equipped with a variety of connectors compatible with both imported and domestic SF6 electrical equipment (optional).

3.Automatic vacuuming: The device can perform automatic vacuuming based on the time or vacuum level set by the user (optional).

4.Multiple protection functions: It includes multiple protection features to effectively ensure the safe operation of the vacuum pump.

5.Easy maintenance: The device is designed for easy maintenance. It uses high-performance components, which means that it does not require frequent repairs even after long-term use.

IV. Operation process

4.1 SF6 Vacuuming electrical equipment

Step 1: Connect the device and SF6 electrical equipment through hoses.

Step 2: Press the green vacuum button on the control panel to start the vacuum function.

Step 3: Slowly open the vacuum pump ball valve and the pipe connection ball valve.

Step 4: Evacuate the SF6 electrical equipment until a stable vacuum is reached.

Note: This device is an optional accessory.

Initial value：O1H=5000Pa；O1L=30Pa；O2H=200Pa；O2L=200Pa。

4.2 Refilling gas for SF6 electrical equipment

Step 1: Close the vacuum pump ball valve and vacuum gauge valve after ensuring that the device is connected to the pipeline vacuum.

Step 2: Connect the SF6 cylinder to the SF6 refilling device.

Step 3: Open the SF6 gas cylinder, adjust the pressure reducing valve to the required pressure, open the device to connect the pipeline valve, and refill the gas.

Step 4: When the required inflation pressure is reached, close the SF6 cylinder again, close all valves, and complete the refill operation.
