    Measurement Methods

    1.Connect SF6 Devices
    .Connect the threaded end of the measuring pipe to the switch joint and tighten it with a wrench.
    .Close the needle valve at the other end of the measuring pipe.
    .Insert one end of the quick connector on the measuring pipe into the air inlet of the instrument.
    .Insert one end of the exhaust pipe into the exhaust port on the back of the instrument and place the other end into a trench or window.
    .Finally, connect the switch connector to the SF6 electrical equipment measurement interface and tighten with a wrench.
    2.Initialization
    Turn on the power switch of the instrument. The instrument will enter the initialization self-calibration process. After calibration, it will automatically enter the measurement page.
    3.Check Battery
    It is recommended to use DC power for this instrument. When using DC power, check the battery power displayed in the upper right corner. If the power indicator turns red, turn off the instrument and charge it before continuing to use it.
    4.Start Measuring
    .Fully open the flow valve on the front panel of the dew point meter.
    .Slowly adjust the flow to about 0.5 L/min by adjusting the needle valve on the measuring pipe to start measuring the SF6 dew point.
    .The first device will take 5 to 10 minutes to measure, and each subsequent device will take 3 to 5 minutes.
    5.Storing Data
    After the measurement is completed, the data can be saved in the instrument. Press the "OK" key to bring up the operation menu. For specific operation methods, refer to the next section.
    6.Measure Other Equipment
    .After completing the measurement of one piece of equipment, close the needle valve on the measuring pipe.
    .Remove the switch connector along with the measuring pipe from the SF6 electrical device.
    .If you need to continue measuring other devices, do not turn off the instrument power. Follow the steps above to continue measuring the next device.
    7.Measurement Ended
    After all equipment measurements are completed, turn off the instrument power.

    Precautions

    1.Placement
    Place the instrument in a safe location to prevent it from falling and severe vibrations.
    2.Gas Measurement
    Do not measure corrosive or flammable gases.
    3.Charging
    Charge the instrument in a timely manner before use.
    4.Charging Procedure
    To charge the instrument, simply connect the power cord to a 220V socket. There is no need to turn on the power switch; the instrument will charge automatically. The charging time typically takes more than 10 hours.
    5.Flow Adjustment
    Before measuring, open the valve on the flow meter first, and then adjust the flow through the valve on the pipeline. Failure to do so may cause the gas in the internal pipeline of the instrument to generate pressure. Measuring under pressure can result in significantly higher readings.

    Appendix:(Requirements for measuring moisture content of SF6 circuit breakers)
