Huazheng HZHG -F 1.0 Class Digital Kilovoltmeter High Voltage Divider
I. Working Conditions
(1)Environment temperature: -5℃~40℃
(2)Relative humidity: ≤80%
(3)Height above sea level: ≤1000m
(4)Without severe chemical deposits which may influence the surface insulation condition of high voltage divider.
II.Preparation Before Test (Measurement)
1.High Voltage Divider Placement: The high-voltage divider should be positioned properly. Ensure that there is adequate clearance from surrounding objects. The minimum clearance should not be less than the height of the voltage divider.
2.Grounding Connection: The ground terminals of both the voltage divider base and the digital voltmeter should be reliably connected to ground using braided copper wire.
3.Measuring Signal Connection: The supplied coaxial measuring cable is specifically prepared for connecting the voltage signal output socket of the divider base to the signal input socket of the digital voltmeter. It should not be replaced with any other coaxial cable or connecting wire, as the cable is designed for proper capacitive matching with the voltage divider.
4.High Voltage Connection: The high-voltage terminal to be measured should be connected to the top connecting screw (M10) of the voltage divider using HV leads. Ensure that the HV leads are positioned at an angle of 75° to 90° (inclined downward) relative to the vertical axis of the voltage divider during calibration and use to ensure precise measurement.
Measuring Functions
Press the function selector key. The measuring function can be changed cyclically in the following order: DC, AC effective (RMS), AC peak, and AC peak-to-peak. The measured values can be directly read from the digital voltmeter.
1.DC: Measures the average value of DC voltage, regardless of any ripple factor.
2.AC Effective (RMS) Value: Displays the true effective (RMS) value of any AC voltage waveform. The frequency response is from DC to 1 kHz.
3.AC Peak Value: Displays the peak value of any AC voltage waveform.
4.Peak-to-Peak Value: Displays the peak-to-peak value of any AC voltage waveform.
III.Range Selector
ress the range selector to change the measuring range. If the measured voltage is less than 20 kV, set the range selector to a lower range for higher measurement accuracy. When the measured voltage exceeds 20 kV, set the range selector to a higher range.
