In the production of power transformers, both semi-finished and finished products undergo testing. Before a new transformer is put into operation, the national preventive testing procedures require a transformer turn ratio or voltage ratio test. This test checks the correctness of the transformer's turn ratio, the condition of the tap changer, the presence of any turn-to-turn short circuits, and whether the transformer can operate properly.

Traditional variable ratio bridge readings are not intuitive, as they require conversion and can only be measured phase by phase. The XXF variable ratio tester overcomes the limitations of traditional variable ratio bridge testing by offering a simple and intuitive operation. It uses a three-phase precision inverter power supply for fast testing with high accuracy.

I. Functional Characteristics

1.The internal instrument uses a three-phase precision inverter power supply instead of a single-phase mains power supply for the measuring voltage. This eliminates the harmonic influence of the mains voltage during measurement, ensuring more accurate results. When the power supply is from a generator, there is no impact on the measurement.

2.The three-phase output voltage improves the test speed. It can measure the angle between phases and also test transformers with a neutral point. The instrument automatically identifies the transformer wiring group, ranging from 0 to 11.

3.The instrument is compatible with a wide variety of transformers, especially suitable for Z-type, rectification, grounding, electric furnace, and other transformer measurements. It offers the most comprehensive measurement parameters.

4.Using a custom-made precision three-phase inverter power supply, the instrument features high and low voltage reverse connection protection, transformer turn short-circuit protection, tap switch misplacement protection, and full short-circuit output protection, which enhances the instrument's stability.

5.After inputting the rated parameters, the instrument automatically measures the transformer turn ratio, error value, and tap switch position. It can also accurately measure the position of an asymmetric tap switch, with the ability to measure up to 99 points.

6.The 7-inch high-brightness touch color LCD screen provides clear visibility under strong light. The full-touch screen supports Chinese and English language switching.
