Huazheng HZ-3310D Three-Channel DC Resistance Tester with Magnetic Assistance
I.Performance Characteristic
1.This instrument can automatically select the output current, with a maximum output of up to 10A.
2.The measurement range is wide (0Ω–100Ω), allowing for the measurement of inductive DC resistance in transformers, current transformers, and voltage transformers.
3.The display features a 480×272 high-resolution 65K color screen, ensuring clear and legible data presentation.
4.The instrument includes a perpetual calendar, storage for 100 data sets, and automatic temperature conversion. Data is retained even after shutdown. Additionally, the device is equipped with a printer for outputting and printing test data. A "USB" interface is also available for easy data import and review.
5.The instrument is equipped with an RS485 communication interface, enabling remote control measurement when connected to a computer with dedicated control software.
6.This instrument features three identical testing functions, allowing for one-line connection to measure the DC resistance of three phases in star-connected windings. It automatically calculates the three-phase imbalance rate, significantly reducing measurement time and improving efficiency. It also supports phase-by-phase testing for transformers with YN and D/Y connection methods, calculating the three-phase imbalance rate after testing.
7.The instrument is equipped with an automatic magnetic assistance function. It uses a high-voltage and low-voltage series excitation method for testing five-column core, low-voltage delta-connected windings. The built-in magnetic assistance circuit connects automatically to the windings, enabling quick and accurate measurement of low-voltage winding resistance.
8.The device features an audible discharge alarm with clear discharge indication, reducing the risk of misoperation.
9.The instrument includes protection and alarm functions to safeguard against accidental connection to an AC 380V power supply, minimizing damage caused by misoperation. It also features robust back-EMF protection and arc prevention capabilities.
10.The device is characterized by its wide applicable temperature range, high accuracy, shock resistance, anti-interference capabilities, high stability, and portability.

III.Instructions for Safe and Accurate Measurements
1.Reset Before Measuring Reverse Tapping
Ensure you reset the device before measuring the reverse tapping of a no-load voltage regulation transformer. Switch the tapping point only after the discharge is complete and the alarm sound has stopped.
2.Do Not Remove or Connect Cables During Measurement
Do not remove or connect the testing cables during the measurement process. Only remove or change the wires after the device has been reset and the discharging alarm sound has stopped. This prevents damage to both the equipment and the user.
3.Starting Measurement for On-Load Voltage Regulation Transformers
For transformers with on-load voltage regulation, start the measurement from position 1 or 17 (maximum resistance shift) during high-voltage side resistance measurement.
4.Select Measurement Range According to Technical Specifications
Refer to the measurement range specified in the technical index when selecting the measurement method. Do not exceed the specified measurement range.
5.High-Voltage Magnetic Assistance for Large Capacity Transformers
For measuring the low-voltage side windings of large capacity, five-column core YND11 transformers, it is recommended to use the high-voltage magnetic assistance method to save measurement time.
6.Phase-by-Phase Testing for Middle and Low-Voltage Star Windings
For middle and low-voltage star-type windings that cannot be tested in three phases simultaneously, use the YN phase-by-phase testing method
Common Problems And Solution Methods
Troubleshooting Guide
1.Buzzer Continues to Sound When Starting
First, check whether the power supply is connected to AC380V or if the input voltage is too low.
2.Liquid Crystal Screen Does Not Light Up When Machine is Started
First, check if the power supply is normal. Then, check if the fuse is blown. If it is, replace it with a new fuse.
3.Screen Lights Up but Display is Abnormal or Blank
First, restart the machine and press the reset key once.
4.Unstable Testing Data or Large Measurement Error
First, check if the testing wires are securely connected and not loose. If the issue persists, check if the sample is corroded.
5.“Charging…” Displayed During Testing
First, rule out any issues with the transformer's magnetic circuit. If the current remains unchanged for a long time and stays around zero, check for a short circuit in the circuit. If the current is not continuously charging, check if the measurement range is exceeded.
6.“Exceed Measurement Scope”
If the resistance value exceeds 50Ω during testing, the device will display “Exceed Measurement Scope.” The instrument will not stop testing and will continue to display the result. However, the measurement result may be inaccurate. This is a normal phenomenon.
7.“Overheat Protection”
The temperature may rise due to prolonged operation or damage to the power supply. The device will display “Overheat Protection.” Do not perform testing; let the fan run for 10 minutes to cool down the internal temperature. If the issue persists, the power supply may be damaged.
