Huazheng HZ-2000F Transformer Dielectric Loss Tester

The Transformer Dielectric Loss Tester is a fundamental method for insulation testing that effectively detects overall damp deterioration and local defects in the insulation of electrical equipment. It is widely used in electrical manufacturing, equipment installation, handover, and preventive maintenance testing. Measuring the dielectric loss of transformers, mutual inductors, reactors, capacitors, bushings, and lightning arresters is a basic technique for assessing their insulation performance.
The dielectric loss tester has overcome the limitations of traditional bridge measurement methods by adopting frequency conversion power supply technology. It uses a microcontroller and modern electronic technology for automatic frequency conversion, mode/number conversion, and data processing. The tester features strong anti-interference capabilities, fast testing speed, high precision, automatic digitization, and easy operation.
The power supply uses a high-power switching unit that outputs pure sinusoidal waves at 45Hz and 55Hz. It also includes automatic voltage regulation, providing up to 10 kV of voltage. The tester automatically filters out 50Hz interference, making it suitable for large field tests in environments with high electromagnetic interference, such as substations.

    I. Performance Feature

    1.The instrument uses Fourier transform digital filtering technology to measure capacitance, dielectric loss, and other parameters, ensuring high precision in test results and convenient automatic measurement.
    2.The instrument adopts frequency conversion technology to eliminate 50Hz power frequency interference in the field, enabling reliable data measurement even in environments with strong electromagnetic interference.
    3.Equipped with a large full-touch LCD screen, the instrument is easy to operate. The intuitive graphical interface clearly displays each process, so operators do not need additional professional training. The entire measurement process can be controlled with a touch.
    4.Data storage: The instrument is equipped with a calendar chip and large-capacity memory, allowing test results to be saved, accessed, and printed at any time. The current time and storage time can be displayed and printed as well.
    5.Scientific and advanced data management: Data can be exported via USB drive and managed through special software on any PC.
    6.The instrument is user-friendly, with the measurement process controlled by a microprocessor. Once the appropriate measurement method is selected, the microprocessor automatically completes the data measurement.
    7.The integrated model includes a standard capacitor and high-voltage power supply, simplifying field testing and reducing the need for complex wiring.
    8.The instrument offers high measurement accuracy, meeting the requirements for oil transformer dielectric loss testing. By adding a standard oil cup and special test leads, it can measure oil dielectric loss.
    9.It features reverse wiring low-voltage shielding. When the 220kV CVT bus is grounded, the 10kV reverse wiring transformer dielectric loss test can be performed on the C11 without removing the wires.
    10.The instrument is capable of performing AC withstand testing, which is useful for testing PT and CT secondary-side AC withstand voltage as well as 400V low-voltage systems.
    11.The instrument can identify the frequency of an external high-voltage power supply (40Hz–70Hz) and allows the use of frequency or serial resonant power supplies for large-capacity and high-voltage dielectric loss tests.
    12.With the CVT test function, the instrument can perform a self-excitation test on the CVT, and set four protection limits for high voltage/current and low voltage/current to ensure safety for both the operator and equipment.
    13.During CVT testing, the instrument automatically tests the capacitance and dielectric loss values of C1 and C2, as well as the total capacitance and dielectric loss values of the CVT equipment.
    14.CVT ratio measurement function: The instrument can measure the CVT ratio, polarity, and phase error.
    15.Equipped with a thermal printer, the instrument can print test reports with a built-in calendar clock. It also supports USB data output.
    16.The instrument has a computer interface that allows control of up to 32 instruments. This feature is ideal for integrating into a comprehensive high-voltage test vehicle, enabling measurement, data processing, and report generation.
    17.Grounding protection function: If the instrument is not properly grounded, it will not enter normal operation and will not output high voltage. It also includes over-current protection to prevent damage in the event of a short circuit or breakdown.
    18.Electric shock protection function: If the operator accidentally contacts the live parts, the instrument will immediately cut off the high voltage, ensuring the safety of the operator.
