2.3 Yn type, Y type and Δ type windings can all use three-phase measurement methods to test, and calculate the three-phase imbalance rates. Special algorithm optimization has been done specifically for distribution transformers to make the test data more accurate.

2.4 The maximum output current of the test power supply is 20A, and the test range is 0～25kΩ, which can meet the testing requirements of most transformers.

Dry-type transformer, capacity 1600 KVA, 10 / 0.4 kV, resistance value on the high-voltage side approximately 400 mΩ, resistance value on the low-voltage side approximately 600 uΩ.

Test method:

Test the high-voltage side three times at gear 5A (simulate testing three tap positions), and test the low-voltage side once at gear 20A.

4 Charging the Battery

Before using the handheld instrument for the first time, after a long period of storage, or when the battery power is low, please use the power adapter that comes with it to charge the battery. During the charging process, you can continue to use the handheld tester. After the battery is fully charged, the charging indicator light on the instrument will change from red to continuous green.
