The Earth Resistance Tester, also known as a double clamp grounding resistance tester, incorporates advanced measurement methods. In addition to the traditional function of measuring grounding resistance with auxiliary grounding, it uniquely allows measurement without an auxiliary ground. The tester features a large LCD gray screen with backlight display and employs microprocessor technology. It offers precision measurement through the controlled selection of the 4-wire method, 3-wire method, simple 2-wire method, and double clamp method.

With its large-diameter current clamp design and double jaw measurement technology, the tester can perform online measurements without the need for auxiliary grounding or isolating the grounding body from the equipment. It is suitable for a wide range of applications, including telecommunications, electricity, meteorology, computer rooms, oil fields, power distribution lines, iron tower transmission lines, gas stations, and factory grounding networks.The instrument is precise, fast, simple to use, stable, and reliable.

Introduction

The multi-function earth / ground resistance tester (also called a ground resistance meter) is an advanced instrument that unites several measurement methods in one housing.

In addition to the traditional four-terminal measurement with auxiliary earth spikes, it offers the unique ability to measure ground resistance without any auxiliary electrodes.

Microprocessor-controlled, it performs accurate measurements by means of the four-wire, three-wire, simplified two-wire, selective and double-clamp methods.

A large-diameter current clamp and true double-clamp technology allow on-line testing without auxiliary spikes and without disconnecting the earth conductor from the installation.

The instrument is widely used in telecommunications, power utilities, meteorological stations, equipment rooms, oil fields, distribution lines, transmission towers, petrol stations, industrial earthing grids, lightning protection systems, etc.

Testing is accurate, fast, simple, stable and reliable.

Besides ground resistance, the meter also measures soil resistivity, earth voltage, DC voltage, DC resistance and AC current.

A fast digital filter minimises interference, while the resistance of the auxiliary electrodes is displayed on the same screen, making it easy to spot environmental errors and ensuring that the true earth resistance is obtained.

Up to 500 test results can be stored internally.

Built-in Bluetooth enables wireless remote control through the mobile app; a USB port allows the same functions when the meter is connected to a PC.

Data can be recalled, and test reports exported, at any time.

Additional features include data hold and intelligent alarm prompts.
