    Product Overview

    The instrument features an attractive design, with the output voltage displayed on a digital tube, making it clear, intuitive, and accurate. Each parameter setting is entered using a small keyboard, ensuring ease of operation. The entire device incorporates advanced technology, a reasonable layout, high accuracy, good reliability, and convenient maintenance.

    The instrument employs an integrated design that combines the control box and test voltage. Current protection is adjustable via a dial, and the unit is compact and lightweight. Known as a small AC and DC booster, it serves as basic testing equipment for users such as power stations, power supply and distribution systems, and scientific research institutions. It is used to conduct dielectric strength tests under specified voltages on various electrical products, components, and insulating materials, assessing the insulation level of the product, identifying insulation defects, and measuring the ability to withstand overvoltage.

    How to Use the Product

    1.First, connect the test wires to the output of the high-voltage test products, and simultaneously connect the ground using bare copper wires of at least 2.5 square millimeters to ensure personal safety. Set the current, and then boost the voltage. The device will protect against exceeding the rated current.

    2.Set the time using the dial (the switch increments in 0 and 10-second units from right to left; for example, "10" seconds is shown as "1" and "0"). The maximum setting is 99 seconds and should be set before the test. The timing switch should not be pressed afterward; otherwise, the set time may be incorrect.

    3.After confirming that the wiring is correct, plug in the power and turn on the power switch. The power indicator light (green) and the zero indicator light (yellow) should be on. If the zero indicator light is not lit, please return the voltage regulator to zero.

    4.Once the yellow light is on, press the "Start" button. The output indicator light (red) should turn on. If it does not, press the "Stop/Reset" button, then press the "Start" button again.

    5.When the red light is on, voltage can begin to increase. Pay strict attention to the high voltage and current. When the rated test voltage is reached, press the timing switch to start the timer; the high voltage will automatically disconnect after the set time. If the high voltage and current suddenly drop to zero during boosting, it indicates that the test product has failed or that the set current is too low, triggering overcurrent protection.

    6.Once the time is up, adjust the voltage regulator to the "zero position." After completing the test, turn off the power switch.

    Product Use Precautions

    Before using the withstand voltage tester, please read the following precautions carefully:
    (1) Use a three-hole power socket with a proper ground connection.
    (2) The ground terminal of the instrument must be reliably connected to the earth (not to the neutral line).
    (3) Operators should wear insulating gloves and have insulating mats under their feet.
    (4) Before turning on the instrument, ensure the "voltage adjustment" knob is turned counterclockwise to the end.
    (5) Do not touch the device under test or the test leads while voltage is outputting. Ensure there is no high voltage output when connecting the test object.
    (6) Avoid short circuits between the high voltage output terminal and the ground wire to prevent accidents.
    (7) In case of an accident, immediately cut off the power supply.
    (8) When using a remote control stick for testing, exercise extreme caution to avoid danger.
    (9) When the instrument is unloaded and the high voltage is adjusted, the indicated leakage current is a normal starting current and does not affect test accuracy.
    (10) Maintain the instrument properly, avoiding direct sunlight and preventing use or storage in hot, humid, and dusty environments. Operators must disconnect the instrument's power supply when leaving their posts.
